Genkai investment
GIFT IFSC Private Limited(Genkai GIFT) is a newly
established entity and is a subsidiary of Genkai Investments Company Limited. The Genkai GIFT intends to register itself with International
Financial Services Centre Authority(IFSCA) as a Fund
Management Entity under the provisions of IFSCA (Fund Management) Regulations,
2022.
The GIFT International Financial Services Centre (GIFT IFSC) is a
financial centre and special economic zone in Gujarat International Finance
Tec-City (GIFT City) established in April 2015 as a financial hub to provide
world-class infrastructure and services for financial institutions and
companies operating in areas such as banking, insurance, capital markets, and
asset management.
At present,
the GIFT IFSC is the maiden International Financial Services Centre in
India. A financial institution in the IFSC is treated as a person resident
outside India.
